The kids decided they wanted to make a cake for “Daddy” for his birthday. I divided the cake into 3 sections and then they each made their own picture for him. Sam made a dinosaur (of course), Chloe some flowers with her name (she realized it’s hard to write/draw with frosting), and Lydia—well we did what we could. :-) It was fun and the kids LOVED the frosting!
We also took our family picture—the kids thought this one was great!

Hi Lois...came across your blog on Kim's today! Lovely family you have. Added you to my blog list..am sure Paula will enjoy seeing your blog up in the cold north of AK..
We"re hoping to head up Storybook way, not camp but at least to see our mom's in Virginia and Duluth both living in assisted living either this spring or summer depending on Tim's health. We keep in in constant contact with Phil & Kay...Phil's keeping us warm with lots of firewood this winter and we feed him in return whenever he shows up! Tim & Bammer did a show together in St. Louis last year and stayed with your Dad & Irene.
Take care.....Pam Nelson
